Understanding the results

What this information means

The results show the network exit address used to access this site's interface, not the address your device uses on a local network.

Public IP and location

Your public IP is the address websites see when you connect. The location is based on IP geolocation data and can help you check a route's exit point. Database updates may be delayed, so the displayed location may not match your actual location. After switching routes, check again and compare the results.

Internet service provider

ISP refers to the network operator associated with the exit address. The displayed name may change when you use a different route; it does not indicate the route's speed or connection quality.

Proxy detection

This section reports only the result returned by the lookup service. “Not detected” does not mean every website will reach the same conclusion. “Unable to determine” means the service returned no definitive result.

Manual checks

Check for DNS leaks

A public IP lookup cannot tell you which servers handle your DNS requests. This page does not run a DNS leak test or treat IP geolocation as a DNS test result.

  1. Connect to the route you plan to use and confirm that your client shows a connected status. Then check the public IP above.
  2. Check the DNS settings on your device or in your browser. If your browser uses its own secure DNS, check that setting too.
  3. Use a trusted DNS test tool to identify the resolver handling your requests, then compare it with your expected connection setup. Your public IP alone cannot confirm this.
  4. If the DNS route differs from what you expected, first check your client's global or rule-based mode, then review your device and browser DNS settings. Test again after making changes.

Lookup and privacy

This site does not log the results from this page. Your browser sends a lookup request to our interface to retrieve your current public IP information; the copy button only saves the displayed IP to your device's clipboard. Do not treat these results as a complete privacy or DNS security assessment.
