ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION

Accounts & subscriptions

Check your account status and subscription source first, then troubleshoot the client configuration. Use your account on a new device; you don’t need a different plan based on the number of devices.

What do I need to create an account?

VPNPM doesn’t require an email address. Create an account with a username and password. Follow the prompts in the user panel to set your login details, and keep your username and password somewhere safe. Before getting started, review the plan’s data allowance and reset rules. Creating an account doesn’t automatically include a subscription. Use the same user panel to view plans, clients and support tickets.

Where can I find my subscription link?

Your subscription details are available in the user panel. Sign in, check your subscription status, then follow the client import instructions shown there. Don’t post your subscription link on public webpages, in group chats or in screenshots—it identifies your account’s connection configuration. If you haven’t chosen a plan yet, review the available plans in the panel, then return to the subscription section. Marketing pages don’t provide subscription links for copying.

My route list hasn’t changed. How do I update my subscription?

First, make sure your client is using the subscription configuration for your current account. Then find the update subscription or refresh configuration option in the client. Once the update finishes, reopen the route list. If it fails, check that you can browse the web normally on your device, then check your subscription status in the user panel. Don’t keep importing a link from an old screenshot. If the update still won’t complete, open a support ticket with your device platform, the exact error message and the steps you’ve already tried.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices?

VPNPM supports unlimited devices, so there’s no need to choose a different plan when you switch devices. On your new device, open the user panel for the relevant client and subscription import instructions, then check that the connection mode and route suit your needs. If you no longer use your old device, remove the saved subscription configuration from its client to keep your account details off devices you no longer own.

Need platform-specific import steps? See the getting started guide. Find the client in the user panel.

CONNECTION / DIAGNOSIS

Connections & troubleshooting

First determine whether all destinations are affected or just one website or app. Change one setting at a time so you can tell which step made a difference.

The client says it’s connected, but webpages won’t load. What should I check first?

Try opening a few different websites to see whether none of them load or only a particular site is affected. Next, switch to another route and check whether the client is in Global or Rule mode: in Rule mode, different destinations may use different routes. If the same issue occurs on every route, disconnect and make sure your regular internet connection works, then connect again. When opening a support ticket, include the type of website affected and any error message.

Why isn’t a particular app using the proxy?

Check the client’s current Rule mode and per-app settings to make sure the app is included in the proxy rules. Some apps keep their existing network session after launch, so close and reopen the app after changing settings. You can also briefly switch to Global mode for comparison. If the app works in Global mode, the issue is likely with the routing rules or app settings. When you’re done troubleshooting, switch back to the mode that suits your usual needs.

What should I do if a subscription update fails or shows a configuration error?

Don’t keep adding the same subscription after an error; this can leave duplicate configurations in the client that are hard to tell apart. First check your subscription status, device’s internet connection and the client’s update option. Then remove any old configuration you’ve confirmed is no longer valid and import again using the current instructions in the user panel. If the error persists, keep the exact error message and open a support ticket with your platform, the step where the client fails and whether the issue only happens during updates.

My connection drops when a mobile app goes into the background. How can I troubleshoot it?

Return to the client and check the connection status. Then review your device’s background activity and battery-saving restrictions for the client. Settings vary by operating system; try searching for the client’s name in your system settings to find its permissions. After making changes, stay on the same route and check the connection both in the foreground and background. Avoid changing the route and mode at the same time, so it’s easier to identify the cause. If disconnections continue, open a support ticket with your device’s operating system, the circumstances and any message shown by the client.

ROUTES / REGIONS

Speed & routes

The region determines the route to your destination, while route type gives you options to compare. Your experience also depends on your local connection, the time of day and the destination service.

Video buffering during peak hours? Here’s how to switch routes

First check whether buffering only affects a particular streaming platform. Then compare routes within the same region; don’t change the region, video quality and route type all at once. You can start by comparing playback on an IEPL dedicated route and a relay route. A route that connects successfully isn’t necessarily the best match for a particular content source at that time. If several routes have the same issue, check your regular internet connection and other bandwidth-heavy tasks, and note when the problem occurs for further troubleshooting.

How do I choose between IEPL, relay and direct routes?

Use route type as a guide for comparing options, not as a guarantee of speed. If you need a more stable cross-border connection, try an IEPL dedicated route first. If performance isn’t ideal for your target region or streaming platform, compare relay and direct routes. For a fair comparison, use the same device and website at roughly the same time, and check page loading, playback continuity and connection stability. Choose based on your own results, not just the route name.

How can I narrow down my options when there are so many routes?

VPNPM covers 110+ countries and 250+ routes. First identify the region your target service requires, then compare route types in that region. For everyday browsing, start with a nearby region that meets your needs. For region-specific content services, choose the region associated with the service. Save routes that work well and compare them again if performance changes. This is usually more useful for troubleshooting than switching regions at random.

I selected a route in the right region, but the streaming service still says it’s unavailable there. Why?

Check the region your client is actually connected to, rather than relying only on the highlighted route name in the list. After switching routes, reopen the content page. If you’re using Rule mode, check that the streaming service is routed through your selected route, then compare it with another route in the same region. Streaming platforms may change how they detect regions, and a route’s location doesn’t guarantee playback rights. Follow the platform’s on-screen guidance and applicable local rules.

BILLING / REFUNDS

Billing & refunds

Know the difference between monthly plans, which reset on your activation date, and data packs, which last until used. Check order status and refund requests in the user panel.

Which monthly plans are available, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, so keep that date in mind when checking your remaining data. Choose based on your typical browsing, video and app usage—not price alone. Your plan status and available data are shown in the user panel. Monthly plans and data packs have different terms, so review each before choosing.

What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan?

Data packs don’t expire and remain available until used up. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Monthly plan data resets on your activation date and may suit you if you prefer to manage usage by month. If your usage varies, compare your habits with the terms of both options, then check the plan page for details. Data packs don’t automatically top up each month, so make sure you choose the right billing model for your needs.

How is a mid-cycle upgrade to a monthly plan calculated?

When you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Before proceeding, check your current plan, activation date and the result shown on the upgrade page in the user panel. Remaining days depend on your subscription status at the time, so we can’t estimate a specific amount or duration here. If the page doesn’t match your account records, don’t confirm the upgrade. Open a support ticket and include your current plan and the relevant upgrade page details.

Which payment methods are supported?

VPNPM supports Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT. After choosing a plan, check the available payment methods and order status in the payment flow provided in the user panel. If your subscription status doesn’t update after payment, return to the order page to check the result. Don’t repeat the same payment just because the page hasn’t updated yet. If you need a manual review, open a support ticket with the order details and the message shown on the page. Don’t post payment receipts or account details publicly.

How do I request a refund?

VPNPM offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel and open a support ticket with the relevant order details and your request. This helps the team check your subscription record and track the request. Review the applicable terms in the refund policy before submitting. If the payment status or order details don’t match, mention that in your ticket too. Contact support through the official option in the panel, and don’t share order or account details in public discussions.
